Symphony of disarray
where
worms and fairies
fraternize
My attention in this cycle is focused on what is commonly known as confusion, chaos, disorder, entanglement, where the eye unsuccessfully searches for stability in order and structure.
The wind blows, in the murmur of the forest the leaves fall in heaps and are grouped scattered on the ground. In the quietest moments they glide through the air, solitary and silent, to later settle gently one on top of the other. This is the place where visible and invisible beings flirt and embrace in the interplay of colors, shortly before being submerged and fused in the night of life, in that nothingness that is everything.
The assorted sound of colors seems to entangle with that of tones and noises, in the same way as the liana intertwines with infinite turns and curves the trunks and branches of the crowns of large and small trees, and yes - in the end they are devoured or it forces them to surrender by transforming into humus, the placenta of the jungle. In the time of transition, during the variations generated by the tides of the year, when the old leaves have already let go and the new ones are not yet showing, it is that this tissue glows in the sinking sun.
With brisk or cautious treads, the feet step into the layers on the ground, a chaos of becoming and passing; Creasing, snapping, cracking, scrunching, rustling, stroking ... nature responds, tells us about itself, about its condition and how it lives with us. These co-created sounds also fit into the sonorous symphony of the neighboring plant world, playing with the wind, the sun, the rain and the sounds generated by its animal inhabitants, sometimes voluminous, sometimes delicate, and yet always they speak of silence.
What initially appears to be an undifferentiated hodgepodge, when viewed and listened to, becomes in due course a total work of art, an audiovisual concert without score or leader.
