Since the \u00b4Amerta\u00b4 movement practice has played an important role in my life I will give a brief
explanation here of how I define it. This .....how I....
already refers to the first basic assumption.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Every person, every being is respected as unique and connected to everything, plants, stars,
people, animals, elements, the visible as well as the invisible and everything is in an inevitable,
continuous change. Quantum physics offers the scientific explanation and the well-known story of
the flapping of the butterfly's wings a poetic image
of this phenomenon.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

In this constellation, our own meaningfulness is created naturally anew in every moment, if we
'appropriately' use the spiritual-mental-physical potential
entrusted to us;
. 'appropriate' means at the right moment, in the 'right' place, in the
'right' position;
. 'Right' means in harmony with oneself and the whole.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In the 'Amerta' practice the expression of this meaningfulness is found in free movement on the
one hand representative of every kind of doing and acting, but also valid on its own, thus a direct
experience of one's own creative potential. The dance of our lives shows itself to us as an
adventure that surprises, carried by the rhythms
stimulated within.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The challenge to be mastered lies in the inprints and patterns of our lives, which confuse and
obscure our senses and minds. When these are allowed to surface with acceptance in practice,
transformation can take place \u2013 at best - so that our actions arise from the 'presence of being'... in
both doing and non-doing. This 'presence of being' is generated beyond the calculating mind - in
the unfiltered seeing, listening, and sensing of the tangible as well as, perhaps even more so, the
intangible: that which lies behind and in between \u2013 ultimately,
the mystery of existence, the
enigma of life.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Seen in this way, I understand 'Amerta' as a path of exploration and discovery - an archeology of
one's own personality and, at the same time,
a meditation in movement.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The central and always beneficial intention within this movement is a 'doing for good', a linguistic
creation of the founder of this practice, Suprapto Suryodarmo, referring to an engagement that
arises from the power of the heart: from compassion.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

This was also reflected in his way of guiding and accompanying others. He faced human
imperfection with equanimity and empathy on his way to perfection. This may never be achieved,
but it can be glimpsed in a few star moments, and it is precisely in this acceptance that beauty
appears between seeing and being seen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
